Indeed, passengers began to see the boat sag, reports L’Indépendant. Under the weight of about twenty vehicles, the boat began to sink, with its passengers witnessing the scene from the pontoon. The evacuation of the trucks was quickly launched.

The boat sank all the same. Several dozen people were on board. Everyone ended up being rescued, and no injuries were to be deplored.
