Covid vaccine: the third dose will be available to all Italians from January

the essential Almost 83% of Italians have a complete vaccination path. This Tuesday, the authorities announced that the third dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus will be opened in less than three months, to all Italians.

The third dose of the anti-Covid vaccine 19 will be open to everyone in Italy from January, Deputy Health Minister Pierpaolo Sileri said on Tuesday. “Presumably, the third dose will be necessary for everyone,” he said on Radio Capital. Today, the third dose is reserved in the peninsula for patients with serious pathologies, people over 60 years and health personnel. “It is likely that the third dose for all (will follow) from January,” he announced.

Italy has recorded almost 132 000 deaths due to Covid – 19 since February 2020. To date, almost 44, 5 million people, or 82, 3% of the population over 12 years, were vaccinated, and 1.1 million people received a 3rd dose.
