Colin Powell, Secretary of State under George W. Bush, died of Covid-19

Former Secretary of State under George W. Bush, Colin Powell, died at the age of 84 from “complications related to Covid – 19, ”his family announced on Monday. “We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a great American,” they said in a statement.

Colin Powell was the first Afro -American who held the post of Chief of Staff of the Armies, before becoming head of American diplomacy under the Republican presidency of George W. Bush.
