Yesterday afternoon, the Gloose festival volunteers were running in all directions in Fonlabour. This free game festival organized by the game library La Marelle in Albi was a great success: more than 1 500 festival-goers came over the three days of the event. However, the game was not won in advance: “we changed the place and date… but we were frustrated to have canceled two editions so we had to start again! »Testifies a cheerful volunteer at the reception. board games, role-playing, strategy, figurines, construction games including the eternal Lego and Kapla. It’s hard not to find the perfect fit …

The toy library: a “mini Gloose festival all year round”

“The goal is always to democratize the game, presents Olivier Boniface, one of the organizers. We are a festival on a human scale, friendly, to involve the local fabric and attract as many people as possible. It’s very family-friendly. ”

The idea is also to publicize the game library La Marelle, the organizing association, whose number of members has been halved following the health crisis. However, since its reopening at the start of the school year, the volunteers have been pumped up: “We have plenty of plans for the future,” launches President Ludovic Costey. The opening days have been extended and we have more activities. ” So many reasons to go take a look at their local, a “mini Gloose festival that takes place all year round”, smiles the president.

This 7th edition barely finished, the association is already thinking about the next one. It will resume its good old habits at Pratgraussals, from 05 to

next June.
